Wilkinson Public Library Express
You now have access to books and DVDs at your fingertips, literally. The Wilkinson Public Library has expanded into Mountain Village, offering a small remote library branch in the form of a vending machine. Named Wilkinson Public Library Express, the machine is stocked with 20 rows of 16 DVDs and four books with items like the current best selling hardback Every Last One by Anna Quindlen and the newly released film Up in the Air. The $10,000 vending machine collection rotates regularly between 32 books and 140 DVDs and is available to all library cardholders. A depository is located adjacent to the vending machine where you can return items checked out from either the vending machine or the library itself. 

Machine Operation
Operating the machine is simple – it works just like a typical vending machine.

2. Enter the code
3. Recieve your book/DVD

 
Support Team
The installation of the vending machine was made possible by the support of several community organizations.

• Wilkinson Public Library contracted to have the machine built and manufactured and the drop box fabricated.
• We provide the machine's power and Internet connection.
• Jointly, the Telluride Mountain Village Owners Association and The Market at Mountain Village donated the space for the machine and drop box.
